I grew up in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.  It is where Ree Drummond has her restaurant.  I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!!).  I am currently working on my master’s degree in Library Media at East Central University. 

I have two children.  Henry is in 6^th grade, and Elizabeth is in 4^th grade.  They are amazing kids, and I don’t know how I got so lucky to be their mom!  Henry is a history buff.  He loves history, and he definitely knows more about history than I ever could.  Elizabeth loves animals.  She has a such a caring heart and loves to take care of animals.  She’s hoping to be a vet!  

We also have the cutest dog in the world.  His name is Richie.
